Eugene Vocal Arts – Viennese Salon

At the turn of the 19th century, Vienna, Austria was culturally alive with the music of legendary well-known composers Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Beethoven, and their contemporaries, including Marianna von Martines, whose spirited choral masterwork Dixit Dominus we feature in this performance. The performance will also feature arias by Mozart – “Ach, ich fühl’s” from The Magic Flute and “Il mio Tesoro” from Don Giovanni, and two dramatic art songs by Schubert – Ständchen and Der Erlkönig.
